Wangdi Huang: Senior project manager and continuous improvement consultant
Wangdi Huang is a bachelor of laws in the Department of Political Science at Sun Yat-Sen University. Joining Timeline Consultancy for over 7 years, she has been mainly responsible for the planning and coordinating of the training programs. As a young trainer, she has grown rapidly in recent years and has undertaken training in some important projects.
She has provided training, consulting and survey services in employee relations management for the suppliers of well-known brands such as H&M, adidas, New Balance, Microsoft, LEGO, American Eagle Outfitters, Dick's Sporting Goods, Target, TOMS, FAIRPHONE, and Fast Retailing, etc. and other large industrial groups.
The key projects that she has participated in and managed include: supplier ownership initiative, workplace dialogue, cooperation, negotiation, leadership, and employee grievance mechanism, etc. Over 100 enterprises have been served in those projects.
More importantly, she has hosted and coordinated large-scale projects related to workplace dialogue in recent years, involving hundreds of factories. As the projects involve a large number of factories and last for a long duration (up to several months or more than a year), she has been trained to give profound understanding of the factories, attach importance to the analysis of the project objects, as well as continuously summarise and improve the project management and promotion methods. She shows a relatively clear result-oriented consciousness, pays attention to interaction and information sharing with customers and team members, excels in developing and using project management tools, and pursues the efficient execution, high sharing, high service quality, and project sustainability. The projects she managed have been well received by the customers.
In addition, she went to Sweden twice to receive IF-Metal’s systematic training on the "Workplace Dialogue" project during 2014-2017; she went to Turin, Italy in 2019 to receive the series training of INAUGURAL ACADEMY ON FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES AND RIGHTS AT WORK organised by the International Training Center of ILO.
Personal style and training characteristics: Clear logic, concise language, strong affinity, good at mobilising participants’ interest based on project experience, strong insight into participants' understanding, and timely adjustment of effective training methods. As a young trainer, she is good at interacting with the participants progressively in the training.
