Boxuan Meng: Senior trainer and continuous improvement consultant
After completing high school in China and Australia, Boxuan Meng entered Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in China and Portsmouth University in UK majoring in English Study. As a young trainer, his background in higher education in many different cultures has given him a multicultural vision and an international perspective. Meanwhile, he has a strong thinking depth and macro thinking ability.
Boxuan Meng has been in contact with the knowledge related to corporate social responsibility and employee relations management since he was a student, and participated in the founding work in the early days of Timeline Consultancy.
For more than 10 years, he has provided training, consulting and survey services in employee relations management for the suppliers of well-known brands such as H&M, Nike, adidas, New Balance, Microsoft, Nordstrom, Ann INC., Tchibo, LEGO, American Eagle Outfitters, apple, Matrix, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Deckers, etc. as well as other large industrial groups (more than 200 factories in total), covering the topics of workplace dialogue, sustainable compliance management, cross-cultural management, gender equality, and employee development etc.
Since 2008, Mr. Meng has become a certified trainer of FLA, WE and IDH projects. He has participated in the on-site training of large-scale labour-management dialogue projects in mainland China, including, WE project initiated by GIZ and Tchibo, IDH project and H&M’s workplace dialogue project, etc. He has also participated in many international brand seminars and spoke as an invited guest.
In addition, he went to Sweden twice to receive IF-Metal’s systematic training on the "Workplace Dialogue" project during 2014-2017; he went to Turin, Italy in 2019 to receive the series training of INAUGURAL ACADEMY ON FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES AND RIGHTS AT WORK organised by the International Training Center of ILO.
His personal style and characteristics: Due to his profound Chinese culture and historical heritage, he is good at integrating Chinese and Western cultures, that is, combining his international vision with his understanding of Chinese culture and history to form his own unique thinking. He is also adept at exerting his independent thinking ability, guiding and leading participants to engage in on-site training, and entering into deep thinking and discussion of the problems. His training could reach people's hearts, and often brings participants a thrilling shock. He not only has rich practical experience in on-site training, but also has his own unique and in-depth understanding of employee relations management. He pays attention to the difficulties and challenges faced in employee relations in corporate transformation, and hence could provide important implications for participants' actual work.
