Workshop on advisory project coaching for one brand was successfully held

On July 23-24 2019, Timeline held a workshop on how to improve advisory project for some world-famous brand in Timeline Guangzhou office. 

The workshop addressed how to establish good consulting relationship with suppliers, and what core competencies shall consultants possess etc. mainly in the way of heuristic question asking, role play, brainstorming and case discussion and analysis.

  • Promoted participants’ understanding of the consulting relationship and the way to switch from the role of auditor and teacher to that of consultant
  • Produced rich coaching tools






Highlights of this workshop:

 

The coaching content was flexibly adjusted according to the needs of the participants: The trainer shared abundant project experience and a lot of first-hand data on the spot, and explained to the participants how to collect, use and display project data.

 

Teaching people fishing: This was the first time that Timeline did not do dialogue projects on the front line, but instead coached other consultants to do it. In addition, instead of directly telling the participants the answers, Timeline inspired them to find ideas and answers

 

Use of coaching method throughout the training: The participants were driven to "perceive" things and other people's feelings, and enhance their sense of ownership

For Timeline Consultancy, it is fortunate for us to be able to study with such an open team who are good at learning, which is a rare experience. We have seen more possibilities and greater development potential in the field of dialogue projects, from the form of directly coaching supply chain factories on dialogue projects implementation to coaching brand consultants to conduct dialogue projects.
